This year, Rashut Ha’Rabim along with the Municipality of Jerusalem will lead a campaign to bring neighbors together neighbors through Chanukah lighting. Some 500 kits have been distributed which include games, candles and songs. A joint Chanukah lighting is an ideal opportunity to meet neighbors and create a network of support and caring in building. This Chanukah more than 10,000 residents will join together illuminating the city of Jerusalem!
Chanukah is just the first of RaShut Ha’Rabim’s pilot projects based around the Jewish holiday calendar and highlighting social responsibility. Future projects emphasizing connection and caring between neighbors will include Tu B’Shvat planting, Purim mishloach manot and more.
