Kiryat HaYovel neighborhood as a microcosm of Israel 

Come explore the unique diversity of Kiryat Yovel neighborhood through visiting special sites, meeting residents, discussion and study.   On this tour, we will explore the ideological gaps which coexist in this neighborhood as a microcosm of the situation in the State of Israel.  We will learn about the separate and shared  lives of the orthodox and secular communities in the public sphere.  We will discuss what is best for the public sphere and common good in the neighborhood from different points of view. There will be a processing session during or after the tour using texts from different cultures depending on the participants’ backgrounds.
