Arevot – Women Weaving Tradition

Arevot is a women’s Beit Midrash empowering social leaders and Talmidot Hachamot in the spirit of the Mizrahi-Sephardi Jewish heritage, confident in the ability of women to transmit tradition and heal society. We believe that the Mizrahi-Sephardi heritage can serve as a model for a diverse and inclusive society rooted in values of social justice, moderation, peace, and solidarity. We seek to create a traditional feminism which will bridge the gap between our eternal Torah and the changing world around us, and combine study with action in order to leverage the power of tradition and be an influential force acting on social, religious, and political issues.
