Beit Midrash Havruta

Beit Midrash Havruta is a program for religious and non-religious students of the Hebrew University who are interested in the comprehensive and analytical study of Torah while pursuing their academic degrees.   Havruta studies are based on the continuous study of a Talmudic tractate through “havrutot”- study partnerships.  Additionally, students attend weekly in-depth Talmud classes (iyun), and have options to participate in an academic seminar on the Talmudic tractate being analyzed as well as classes in Tanach and Jewish Philosophy.
